World Teacher

A World Teacher is a teacher that teaches the world some things about some things. These days a lot of people claim to be world teachers but at any given historical epoch, not a lot of world teachers incarnate. The reason isn't because world teachers are special or privileged or chosen in some way. The reason is because it takes a lot of work to teach this particular world and not too many monads are willing to put in the lifetimes of effort and sacrifice necessary to complete the training required.

How do you spot a world teacher?

Well, that can be a challenge. World teachers all have different personalities and different methods of expression. They all come from different educational and class backgrounds, and they all speak different languages. Just like everybody else, world teachers wear different hair styles and have different skin colors. They wear different cloths and are gay, straight, or shaded in between. In Truth, world teachers look and act just like everybody else and in that sense can be very hard to spot, particularly since they tend to be modest and retiring, and especially since many tend to avoid social contact and all of them shun fame. What can I say? They don't like crowds and they can't stand hypocrisy.

If you do happen to see a world teacher in a crowd, you'd be almost sure to miss him (or her). They are not presumptuous or arrogant, they don't believe they are special or talented in any way, so they don't like to distinguish themselves from others. You won't find them wearing fancy cloths or driving fancy cars. They won't try and attract attention by holding "end of the world" signs and they will never, ever, ever scare the children of this world with ridiculous tales of hell, damnation, Armageddon, and apocalypse. That's just ignorance. Furthermore, they won't try and tell you how wonderful and perfect they are and how horrible and imperfect you are. They won't pound pulpits or threaten hellfire, they won't make ridiculous claims of worth and worthiness, and they won't give into the temptations of ego and vanity. In fact, if you saw a world teacher they'll look and sound and smell and shit just like everyone else and they won't make any effort to stand out at all.

So how do you recognize a world teacher then?

Well, if you are looking...

And if you do pay real close attention...

And if you don't allow yourself to be distracted away...

And if you "look for the signs", then they are relatively easy to spot.
