The Veil
The term the Veil is the esoteric term used to describe the limitation of consciousness that we incur while incarnated on this earth under Old World conditions. While "beneath The Veil" we are kept from a full understanding the true nature of life here on earth and prevented full connection to the The Fabric of Consciousness.
The concept of The Veil may be used interchangeably with the Lightning Path specific notion of The Blindfold.
The phenomenon that this concept refers to (i.e. the limitation of consciousness while in a human body) can be best understand as the reduction of Consciousness Quotient that occurs as a) the result of suboptimal, even hostile-to-consciousness, socialization practices, b) the repression of feeling and sensitivity as a result of continued painful onslaughts, and c) the imposition of a stupefying archetypal system (the Old Book designed to limit our perception of self and curtail our understanding of reality. The imposition of The Veil ensures a docile and compliant population that accepts the status quo without question, and without desiring change. Destruction of The Veil, removal of The Blindfold,and emancipation of the consciousness of this planet, is the stated goal of The Lightning Path.
