The Blindfold
The term The Blindfold is a metaphoric term used to refer to the limitation of consciousness that occurs as a result of the forced imposition of The System. The imposition of The Blindfold involves primarily a Crown Chakra suppression/repression. Consciousness is limited through a process of suppression and redirection (i.e. repression) of crown energies. Imposition of The Blindfold results in the lowering of the Consciousness Quotient (CQ) of the Physical Unit and a subsequent reduction in cognitive, emotional, and "intuitive" functionality of the body and brain.
In Old World, esoteric literature The Blindfold is often referred to as The Veil. In Old World literature, a "veil" is placed "on" consciousness, presumably as a result of accident, error, or divine plan. Like The Blindfold, The Veil involves a reduction in intellectual capabilities. Like The Blindfold, the Veil must be removed before enlightenment can be attained.
