Spirit

The term Spirit is one of several terms (others include God, god, energy, matter and so on), which can be used to refer either to consciousness as a whole, or to some aspect of it.
The word "spirit" is typically used when we are referring to consciousness "outside" the [[Physical Unit}physical unit]].
As outlined in the Basic Book and The Book of Light, spirit is the ground of reality (i.e. consciousness is the root of all things) and consists of pure awareness, love, compassion, and connection,
