Physical Unit

The phrase Physical Unit (PU) refers to the physical apparatus, the physical body, or the (technically correct) “container” for the incarnated monad. The definition of PU includes all physical systems of the body including the brain and CNS and the “mind” (i.e., Ego) which emerges as consciousness embraces the CNS.

The physical unit is very much a “container” for consciousness. Consciousness enters the PU prior to conception and then stays with the unit either until the resident monadic consciousness (RMC) decides to leave the PU or the PU becomes damaged to the point that it can no longer contain the RMC. Damage may occur to the PU through accidental physical trauma , deliberate abuse, neglect, an assault (i.e., psychological, physical, or toxic trauma), or the through long term degeneration (caused by chakra pathologies) where one or more of the physical systems of the physical unit collapses.

The physical unit is a sophisticated energy device. The complex and detailed energy system is well documented in Chinese Medicine (e.g., Acupuncture). Charkas provide the main energetic support both for the body’s own physical systems, and also for the manifestation of spiritual will in the physical world. In this sense the PU may be seen as a “manifestation device,” or a device designed to assist spirit to express within and manipulate the physical universe.

Healthy Development

Maslow’s Hierarchy
The PU requires healthy and supportive conditions for growth. These conditions include unrestricted chakra flow, positive, nurturing, and loving environments, social conditions which support the expressive urges of spirit as manifested through the physical unit, and economic conditions which preclude deprivation and enhance the physical existence of the PU. Maslow’s “hierarchy” of needs is as comprehensive a statement of the precursors of the healthy development of the PU as has yet been made. My only modification would be to remove the hierarchy and assign equal importance to all human needs at all stages of development. Healthy environments are environments that eliminate trauma and adequately fulfill all psychological, physical, and emotional needs. Proper satisfaction of all needs is a pre-requisite for the healthy development of the PU.

Pathological Development

Although the PU is remarkably resistant to acute trauma and abuse, chronic long term neglect or abuse can lead to chakra pathology that, if it remains untreated, can lead to physical and mental dis-ease, decline and death. Several modalities for the treatment of chakra pathology are available including Psychotherapy, Psycholytic Therapy, Psychedelic Therapy and direct Chakra Therapy. The use of highly effective psycholytic and psychedelic therapies, which unfortunately depend on the use of Entheogens to elicit and reconsolidate COEX Systems has, obviously, been circumscribed by the illegality of even therapeutic use of entheogens.
