The term monad is one of several terms (others include God, god, energy, matter and so on), which can be used to refer to some Aspect of Consciousness.

The word "monad" is used to refer to an Intensification of Consciousness to the point of self awareness, i.e., to the point of I or I AM. A monad is an individual spark of consciousness, an ego, an I, embedded within the misty Fabric of Consciousness. The combination of ("I" + "eye" + will) equals a monadic consciousness.

Monads may or may not find expression in the physical universe. When they do we may refer to them as Monadic Expressions. When they take a seat in a physical body then we may refer to them as Resident Monadic Consciousness.

The term monad may be used interchangeably with the word soul and Spiritual Ego, though when technical precision is desired, monad or ego are the preferred terms.
