Big Fears

As explained in The Dossier of the Ascension, Big Fears are fears that are genetically coded. They are implanted as part of the experience of deeply traumatic events, become part of the genetic memory, and are subsequently passed on from generation to generation. Big fears are like instincts; they have behavioural and psychological implications for the physical unit.

Typically, a physical unit that exists in normal consciousness is unaware of the existence of big fears. However, even though unaware of the existence of the fears, the fears can have a profound behavioural and psychological impact on an individual physical unit. The buried fears may prevent opening of the crown chakra and may even contribute to the ontogenesis of neurosis or psychosis.

The idea of big fears, implanted in the genetic code, and passed on from generation to generation, implies a Lamarckian mechanism for the transmission of information from generation to generation.
