Big Bang

As explained in The Book of Life (in particular volume two and three), the Big Bang is the point of entry of Spirit into Spirit, or consciousness into consciousness.
The Snake Oroboros (image) is a visual metaphor for the entry of Spirit into Matter. The oroboros shows consciousness "consuming" consciousness in order to manifest physical creation.
